Michael has set us a fun challenge this week. Check it out!!
You have been asked to contribute your thoughts to the yet to be published “Fairyland For Dummies” on what is required to be a Prince Charming.
Pasting a smile on his tired shadowed face,
He looked at her choices all over the place.
He hated shopping, both shoes and clothes,
But he had to accompany his betrothed.
Shorter already, it was he needed heels,
Not platforms and glitter for his pants to conceal.
What was she thinking, those five inches more,
Why not the flatties that lay on the floor?
But he loved her dearly, for her funny ways,
As together they’d spend the rest of their days,
He turned a blind eye to her outrageous wig,
And had already said her bum didn’t look big,
And now here they were for the finishing touch,
Shoes for the Big Day, he balked at how much!
He fished out his wallet, the figure far from calming,
Feeling more of a mug than a handsome Prince Charming.
