Why do we dream?
Tough question. Is it because we are worried or concerned about something, remembering times past, or hoping for something good to come in our future. There’s nothing wrong with having dreams in respect of happiness or ambition.

Do you think a person’s name influences the person they become?
Probably not, but nicknames could!

Does hardship make a person stronger?  (example:  What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger)
Another toughie Melanie. Hardship makes us appreciate things more, and perhaps not take so much for granted. Then again circumstances for that hardship could make us angry or cynical.

Why do we judge ourselves by our intentions, but judge others by their actions?
I guess because we are seeing them differently to how we see ourselves. Sometimes we are too quick to judge, and either refuse to see or don’t see the whole picture.
“Let he who is without sin cast the first stone” comes to mind.

Gratitude today is that we are home safe and sound after a horrible day.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  1. These questions look deeper than the norm. Great answers Di.

  2. Carol anne says:

Great answers Di! I loved them!

  3. Sadje says:

I’m glad you both are safe and sound.

  4. Thank you, Di for Sharing Your World! The questions this week were a bit more on the philosophical side than light-hearted, but I think it’s fun to mix it up a little bit. You did great in your answers, you obviously gave them some thought. I’m off to read about your day today! I hope you both are well and safe! O_o It can be challenging ‘out there’, can’t it? Take care!
