Sarah’s challenge this week:
This week we are dipping our toes into the pool of OPPOSITES. Our challenge is all about “opposing forces” and the use of antithesis in our writing. You will need to use the two opposing words in your response – which can be poetry or prose.
Our words this week are:
– answer and question
I’ve always believed in answering a child’s questions as honestly as possible.
So when the inevitable question ‘Mummy and Daddy made me didn’t they?’ arose from one of my ex-partner’s sons, I collected my thoughts to answer the next part ‘How?’ which surprisingly never came.
– together and apart
When I went to NZ in 2010 on my own to visit Bro, I was forever sending Hubby text messages to share my day and what I was seeing (no photos available until I got to a computer), completely forgetting the 12 hour time difference, so he was getting ‘pinged’ in the middle of the night. Thus we were always together in spirit even though we were so many miles apart.
That time difference is a doozie!
It didn’t register at all. Poor Hubby being pinged in the middle of the night!
Awesome Di! Lolling at you pinging your hubby while in NZ!
He wasn’t exactly thrilled…………… 🙂
