Fibbing Friday 15th January

Hello and welcome to Fibbing Friday.
I’m your host this week and as regular readers know, Frank aka PCGuyIV  and myself have kept the Fibbing Friday challenge going.
As always, thank you all for your continued support and participation.

To join in, write a post with your answers to my 10 questions below and tag it “Fibbing Friday” or #FibbingFriday. Then link back to this post so that others can enjoy your answers and maybe join in too!
If you use WordPress, pingbacks are enabled, so as long as you link to this post, it should show up.
Bear in mind though that they are usually approved manually, so don’t be surprised if the link doesn’t show immediately. You can also leave a link to your post in the comments.

As the title of this series suggests, truth is not an option as the idea is to fib, the bigger and more inventive the better, but keep it family friendly. It’s good to raise a smile, it’s tax free and exercises more muscles in your face than a frown.

Have some fun with the questions, and I’ll be back with my answers later.

1.   Where did the phrase ‘Out for a duck’ originate?
2.   What is Duck a l’orange?
3.   Why do we yell ‘DUCK’ when something is likely to hit us?
OK, enough of the duck questions, Geraldine is getting nervous.
4.   When was the first iPhone released?
5.   What is an interrobang?
6.   What is, or was, a Troodon?
7.   Who invented the Little Black Dress?
8.   What is TikTok?
9.   Who invented the frying pan?
10. What colour is most toilet paper in France?

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Now I’m curious (I’ve noticed this all week) and maybe you know. Where IS everyone? Usually by now (it’s 9 a.m. over here) there’d be at least six other bloggers having answered. Nobody’s posting very much. And maybe it’s just me… O_o

    • My posts were scheduled, so it’s not as if I was late putting it out, and I’m up to date with my comments and pingbacks. Maybe it’s just a quiet day, or my choice of questions this week. My reader’s been busy though but I have noticed some regular posts are either late or missing.
