This is my choice of reblog today for Sue’s Write Photo inspirations. It’s a clear night, the moon isn’t a crescent, and we don’t have a tree silhouette, but I was particularly pleased with this in August. Hope you enjoy it for a second time.
Thanks as always to Sue Vincent for sharing her photographs with us for the weekly
Write Photo challenge.
For visually challenged writers, the image shows the dark silhouette of a tree against a cloudy sky.
The horizon is lit by the gold of dawn, while a crescent moon hangs above the tree.
The waning moon bids farewell
As dawn breaks on another day.
Shadows linger on promises
Defined by every sun ray.
Arms reach out to embrace the sky,
Their touch a wave in the breeze,
Stars have long since gone to sleep,
Diamonds in the leaves of the trees.
Silhouettes dance on golden lights
Clouds cover their modesty,
Precious time as night meets day
A joining of unique majesty.
I do love this 💜
