Michael’s challenge today is as follows:
Today is New Years Eve. It’s been a tough year for so many around the world.
As the new year approaches, write about the “new beginnings” you would like to see in 2021.
Thank you to everyone who has written for the Tale Weaver in 2020. I wish you a happy new year, good health and stay safe.
You can join in here
New beginnings, revived promises to ourselves or a general consensus to do better and make the most of the hand we’ve been dealt. So easy to say when so much, and so many loved ones, have been lost.
We can never go back, though there are times when many of us wish we could, if just for a minute, an hour or a day.
As the New Year approaches, we hoped to start it on a positive note, and have been blessed insomuch as Hubby’s INR is back in range. Hurrah!!
I am hoping to see the beginning of a turnaround in fighting the virus. Not with isolations and restrictions, but common sense and positivity, especially in the distribution of the vaccine to all.
I am hoping to see the beginning of order in our GP surgery, so that people who need medical help get it, and are not fobbed off or worse, ignored as they have been.
I am hoping to see the beginnings of recovery in our town, heads lifted and people standing tall rather than hunched by despair, confusion and fear.
I am hoping to see the beginning of the scales going in the right direction, and have been putting tools in place ready to assist in keeping me on track.
We are hoping to celebrate our anniversary with some time away, though that will obviously be determined by what happens in the first few months of the new year.
And tomorrow sees the beginning of that.
Amen🙏
thanks

Beautifully said! ❤

Best wishes Di for the new year. I like your positive thinking.
You too Michael. We’ve had a good start to the year……… a double rainbow!!
Well that has to be a good sign.
I think so! Love rainbows.
New beginnings for us all! I loved your response, Di! I hope all of what you wish for this new year will come true! xo
Thanks Carol Anne, likewise for you.
