Dr Tanya is asking the question as pat of her Five Things series.~
In this pandemic year, we have watched more movies and shows than we ever intended. I can’t say if we watched more than was good for us since it helped pass some very stressful time. Although I re-watched lots of old favourites, in today’s list I am only including titles that I saw in 2020.
Oh dear. What can I say?
We have no TV, and any new DVDs available are of no interest to us whatsoever.
I can hear you all thinking well, what have they been doing during the lockdown?
Walking, shopping at odd times to try and avoid everyone, more walking, hospital or vet appointments, walking some more.
However, apart from blogs, we have been making use of the internet by listening to music, and the other day it was Phil Collins in concert, but I couldn’t tell you from which year or where as Hubby was concentrating on something else and had it on in the background (no visual). Hubby has also been watching loads of old B&Ws available on Youtube while I’ve been playing identify the stars from their voices.
BUT, we have watched the entire three seasons of Tour of Duty (1987 – 1990) having bought them on DVD from Amazon in July.
We would usually buy NCIS every year but the last available season saw too many changes, and we’ve lost heart. Sorry Gibbs.
We’ve bought a few movies from the bargain bucket for a fiver or less though. These were Mulan, Darkest Hour, Terminator Dark Fate and Rambo Last Blood.
Apart from the latter, we’ve only watched them once as we don’t seem to have much time for viewing!!
