Outstanding Blogger Award 20 December

Sadje over at Keep It Alive has kindly nominated me for this award.
Thank you Sadje!
Rules:

  1. Provide the link to the creator’s original award post  https://coltonbeckwithrpc.wordpress.com/2020/05/08/the-original-outstanding-blogger-award/ and very important: see why in step 5)
  2. Answer the questions provided.
  3. Create 7 unique questions.
  4. Nominate 10 bloggers. Ensure that they are aware of their nomination. Neither the award’s creator, nor the blogger that nominated you, can be nominated.
  5. At the end of 2020, every blog that ping-backs the creator’s original post will be entered to win the 2020 Outstanding Blogger Award!

Questions

  1. How did the Covid-19 affect your life?
It made me annoyed and short tempered when idiots flouted the rules and brought the virus to our town when they came ‘on holiday’.
  2. What one special thing would you like to do for the world?
Get everyone vaccinated with something that works, no exceptions.
  3. It’s almost the end of the year, what one thing do you want to accomplish before saying goodbye to 2020?
Nothing, apart from perhaps preparing our garden for next year’s crops.
  4. What do you look most forward to in 2021?
Hubby getting his State Pension…….. finally!!
  5. What is your favorite song of all time?
I haven’t got one as I like a lot of music. Anything by Il Divo is a good contender.
  6. What one book would you recommend to everyone?
Where the Rainbow Ends by Clifford Mills………. if you can find a copy.
  7. What one question would you like to ask me?
With the ‘Me’ being my nominator Sadje, will you be making any New Year Resolutions?

I now have to create 7 unique questions.

1.   Covid aside, do you prefer a staycation or going abroad for your holidays?
2.  What is your favourite meal to cook?
3.  Do you prefer blogging challenges or quizzes?
4.  If you had to wear a wig, what colour would you chose?
5.  Do you have grandchildren?
6.  Do you put a fairy or star on the top of your Christmas Tree?
7.  Do you open your presents on Christmas morning, or after a traditional meal when all the clearing up has been done?

Nominations are always a stumbling block for me as most of the people I’d nominate have already been nominated, or are award free sites.
If anyone would like to answer my questions, please do and leave a link in the comments so that I can see it.

Enjoy, and have a pleasant week.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

    1. I need Mary Poppins; after that, where or what I do really doesn’t matter to me. 🙂
    2. I love cooking coconut curry chicken with Naan the best at the moment, because it’s a current craving.

Congrats Di. Thanks for such prompt response. I have stopped making new year’s resolutions but I did make one resolution on my 59 th birthday, to be in better health/ weight on my next birthday. I like your questions and would try to answer them.
