What a glorious day! The washing is out on the line……… yes, OUTSIDE, and we have a fighting chance of it drying as it’s due to be sunny and breezy all day. Hurrah!!
We’re on our second morning cuppa after which we shall be walking up into town. We have discovered that the loaf of wholemeal bread we bought from Sainsbury’s is giving us both indigestion, even if we have it as toast! We shall therefore be reverting to the multi seeded brown loaf from Lidl which has no repercussions for either of us.
The fry up yesterday turned out to be a cool move, so something else Hubby can tolerate once in a while. He has almost regained the stone he lost after his surgery three months ago, so we can now hopefully move into a maintenance diet mode. Things there are progressing, albeit slowly, but we are getting there.
When we get back from our walk, we shall be driving into the next town for some kettle descaler as the hardware store there is the only place that sells it locally. Other than that, we have nothing on the agenda today, apart from making the best of the lovely weather.
This might mean digging up the conifers and moving them to make our ‘dividing line’ between garden and veg patch. Our compost bin provided some lovely mulch for our prepared veg patch.
Onward with our day then. Hope yours has started well.
Take care and keep safe everyone.
Days like this are a welcome bonus, and we should all make the most of them. I might do some tidying up in the garden too!
Enjoy
We woke up to 10″ of snow. Yikes! I’ll trade weather with you! I’d love a pleasant day. Good news about hubby. Odd about the bread but you just never know.
Wow! That reminds us of Easter 2008 and Maggie’s first experience of it! She was not impressed, bless her. For both of us to be affected by the bread, it has to be something in the recipe. No problem though, we don’t usually shop in Sainsbury anyway, so it’s a one off.
How wonderful to have a beautiful day full of plans for new life. I will miss my garden this year. I have to admit to being jealous of your mulch. 🙂 LOL

Great! I use white vinegar to descale ~ toss in 2 tablespoons, a cup of water, and boil away 🙂
