Monday Peeve 14th December

Paula holds the reins for this one and I have a doozie.
I have said before that our GP surgery is lacking in many areas, and has let us down in respect of flu and pneumonia jabs, doctors appointments (joke trying to make one) and since Covid, routine healthcare has been shelved (no diabetes check for me).
Add to that the fact that the HHA (head honcho ass) GP has misprescribed/misdiagnosed Hubby on two occasions where he ended up in hospital, we are convinced they are trying to kill us.
We have learned today that all GP surgeries in our county are NOT dispensing the Covid vaccine, so that leaves us with a dilemma as to how, and where, we would be able to get one when it is available to our age group.
Seems they can’t kill us by medication, so they are now trying to do it by omission.
We intend to write to our MP, for whatever good that will do.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  1. Hire a lawyer and sue him.

Ugh annoying! More than a peeve really. I’d be livid 😡

  3. willowdot21 says:

I can’t believe they could be so stupid as to not supply the vaccine. It’s ridiculous 💜💜

    • Apparently it’s the entire county. We’ll look into it though.

      • willowdot21 says:

How can that be right who is going to protect you all. 💜🌹

      • I’ve said for years our surgery is trying to kill us with their lack of care and organisation of appointments. We are lucky in that we’ve had good service from 111, the UTC 17 miles away, and A&E 40 miles away. We’ve written to our MP asking where we’re supposed to go for the vaccine, but are very doubtful we’ll get a response. We’ve written to her before and were totally ignored, even when following up TWICE because she hadn’t responded.

I think if you write to your MP. They should answer. Try Bojo seriously nutter or not someone at number 10 reply, might even look in to it for you. Everything is pointless at the moment…and they hang it all on covid! 💜💜💜

      • We’ve had a reply by one of the health staff on her behalf, and they tell us that the vaccine has been dispensed in Lincolnshire already. At two hospitals yes, but not GP surgeries. Apparently there will be an outlet here in our town……….. yeah. We’ve asked how we will know. But it’s a start. The population here is mainly elderly, so how are they going to get it?

    Your dilemma sounds familiar!

  5. Sadje says:

I hope you can get the vaccines soon.

  6. murisopsis says:

Oh that is unreasonable! I hope enough people make it known that not providing the vaccine is unacceptable!! I would be in orbit too.
