Today is Saturday 5th December

It’s sunny and dry, but very cold! We’ve done five days washing as we can get that dry indoors but when it comes to the bigger stuff, it will be a launderette dryer job.
I’ve been up a couple of hours, had breakfast and checked emails. Nothing very exciting going on as the news headlines are old so nothing is of interest.

Plans now are to go for a walk round the park and possibly along the prom as we haven’t had a proper walk for a couple of days now because of the abysmal weather. We don’t mind walks on chilly days as we can wrap up with scarves, hats and thick coats, and Hubby now has his super-duper heated gloves to test drive. We’ve set them up indoors, and they do what they’re supposed to, so it’s all looking good and hopefully he can keep the circulation going in his hands when we’re out now.

I’ve got some more Christmas cards to make so might settle down to do that this afternoon. I want to make a special one for our neighbour so may well use one of the templates Hubby made for me for that. I pushed the boat out and forked out 80p for a new plastic ruler as I tended to shave the edges off the aluminium one with the scalpel. No expense spared LOL.

Not much else on our agenda, so this is only a short post today.
Hope your day has started well.
Take care, and keep safe everyone.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
