Good morning everyone.
We’ve woken up to our second frost, and it’s damn cold!!!
Hubby has a blood test this morning and we hope he is back in range as everything has currently gone belly up. That statement is very
as he’s had to give himself a tummy jab of clexane for the past 7 days. OWWWWW!!!
The results of that will determine if he keeps his dental appointment as if he needed an extraction, that has to be planned for because he’s on blood thinners. Also if he is out of range, they would not touch him anyway.
After that, we are off to do some shopping and might drop into the garden centre on the way back. I’ll remember to take my camera and get some decent pictures of the wondrous displays.
It’s market day here and in recent weeks has been very quiet. Last week, we had 2 stalls and the butcher van. The latter is here every week regardless as we only have one butcher in town. There is always a queue, so he must be very popular.
Breakfast in a minute, then we shall be off as his appointment is early.
Lunch today is ginger and pineapple chicken. I checked the meat drawer in the freezer yesterday and we have a lot of chicken for some reason!
Wishing Hubby all the best this morning. Good news at last?
Nah, still out of range, so dosage upped and tummy jabs continue until next blood test on Monday. 😦
Fingers crossed until Monday!
We hope to see an improvement. Hope you’re both doing OK.
Good luck 🍀
I hope the numbers will add up (seeing as you are the accounting whiz I’m confident you can help) and his next test is better. We went grocery shopping and the store was completely out of coffee creamer and my favorite flavored water. The shortages are so random. You can never have too much chicken!
Ha! Chicken is so versatile and something Hubby can eat OK. We have the same here, there seems to be little logic in what’s left on the shelves and what is missing! We have noticed that some ‘basics’ are limited on the shelves, but we think that is because they are deliberately trying to stop panic buying. We buy our long life milk for the month, so 24 litres, but no-one has questioned us yet and the rest of our purchases are food stuffs but not in excess. We do a monthly shop then top up each week.
