The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS Nov. 21/2020

Something a little different from Linda this week.

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “the last thing you put in your fridge.” Start your post with the last thing you put in your fridge. Let your mind wander from there. Enjoy!
Has to be bread.
Apart from the usual stuff like milk, spread and cheese, our fridge isn’t exactly full.
I bought some carrots the other day and they’re in the salad drawer, the grapes are on the second shelf and almost finished, and yogurt occupies the top shelf, but we buy that for two weeks at a time.
So the last thing I put in our fridge, new, was actually bread.
But then again, that will last us at least a week as we don’t eat a lot.
Now if Linda had said freezer, it would have been ICE CREAM!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
