Another reblog of one of Sue’s Write Photo challenges, this time in response to Michael’s Tale Weaver prompt today: Beginnings.
A lovely romantic setting from Sue this week
You can check out her Writephoto challenge and how to participate here:
‘Do you remember when we first came here?’ she asked.
‘Sure. We hadn’t been together long.’
‘It was new beginning for both of us. We put our pasts behind us and started a new life together.’
‘I proposed to you here. I remember that night, your hair had hi-lights that shone like gold.’
‘Cost me seventy quid!’ She snuggled closer.
‘It’s glorious,. isn’t it.’
She raised her head and kissed his cheek.
‘We’ve something else to celebrate now.’
He looked at her.
Her eyes shone, her cheeks were glowing, and it wasn’t all to do with the sun set.
She nodded and said
A lovely story 💜
Did you know that those links to WordPress must be private? I am asked to sign up or sign in instead of going to the links. I’ve never had that before. The photo prompt is exactly what I was looking for for another prompt today, and I thought I’d get two in one with it!
No, I didn’t realise. I’m following Sue’s blog and these are her photographs. Could this be because you’re on a different platform to WP?.
A lovely story, Di… and one of my very favourite places too 🙂
Thanks Sue. Hope you’re having a good day.
Cold wet and grey, just waiting on a call from the hospital,.. I don’t much like waiting… 😉
worst bit……………. ❤
A story of love! (and gets you in the feels with the last line)!
glad you liked it.
