The beautiful blogger award

Award Rules

1. Link to the blogger who has nominated you.

2. List 7 random facts about you.

3. Nominate 7 creative, beautiful bloggers and let them know about the nomination.

Sadje has kindly nominated me for this award. Thank you very much!

There doesn’t appear to be a badge for it, so in keeping with seven random facts about me, one is I love roses, so have made my own.

2. When I was younger, I dated a couple of guys in the Army and one in the Navy (though not together! I never two timed), but Hubby was in the RAF. Guess it took a while to get the uniform right, though he’d left the force by the time we got together.

3. I prefer to crochet than knit (it grows faster)

4. I passed my driving test first time in 1978.

5. My craft ideas tend to look better in my mind than in reality.

6. I do not embrace all things technical!

7. My eyes are hazel brown but apparently flash green when I’m angry.
Now the toughie part and 7 nominees.
Those familiar with my blog know I tend to open this part up as there are so many great bloggers out there, and they are all beautiful in their way, male and female. Most of my choices have already been selected, so Melanie, Rory, Lauren and Gary you get a nod from me too.
I’d like to add
and two new bloggers I’ve just come across
Sara and Lisa.

No obligation to accept of course, but I hope they do.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  6. Congratulations, Di! You designed a nice badge (yellow rose of friendship). It was interesting to learn a bit about you. I share your hobby (crochet), dislike technology with its constant changes and when mad my hazel eyes have been known to disappear into all whites.

  7. Great minds think alike…I designed my own rose badge for this one too! Yours is beautiful, well in keeping with the spirit of this! Thanks for the nod, and you are richly deserving of this award because yes, you are a beautiful blogger!!

  8. Reblogged this on pensitivity101 and commented:

Sara of relaxitsallwrite nominated me for this too, so I am adding another nominee to this post in response to Sara’s nod and that is June over at jaquintinwriter. She writes some amazing poetry as well!

  9. Congratulations on your award nomination and remain safe.
