Blogger Recognition Award 2020

Sadje has very kindly nominated me for this award. Do check out her blog if you’re not familiar with it. You won’t regret it.
https://lifeafter50forwomen.comThe Rules:

  1. Thank the blogger that nominated you and give a link to their site.
  2. Do a post to show your award.
  3. Give a summary of how your blog started.
  4. Give two pieces of advice for any new bloggers.
  5. Select at least 15 other bloggers for this award.
  6. Let each nominee know you’ve nominated them and give a link to your post.

1 and 2 are done then.

Rule 3:
I started my blog in 2013 at the suggestion of my husband who thought I would enjoy it.
I had no idea it would take off as well as it has, and I have my readers and followers to thank for that. Thank you all for tagging along and particularly in joining in with the challenges I set now.
Rule 4:
Two pieces of advice would be:
Be yourself. Blog for yourself and not what you think people want you to be. Have fun!
Comment on other blogs, and always, always, ALWAYS acknowledge a comment left on yours.

Rule 5: nominees.
There are loads of deserving blogs on WordPress, many of which are actually Award Free.
So, I’m going to do it this way:
If you have been following me for more than a year and I have commented on your blog recently, consider yourself nominated.

Thanks again to Sadje for including me in her list of nominees today.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  3. The blogging advice is spot on. Comments are important, and also important is writing what you want to write about, and not just what’s in trend. Great points!
