Yes, I’ve been at it again and got the card boxes out this afternoon.
Here are five of the seven made, 5 for Christmas cards and 2 Hello.
The latter both had a butterfly theme, but one I wasn’t that pleased with.
The golden butterfly though was quite lovely (IMO) as it was one of those 3D effect stickers where only the centre sticks to the card and you fold the wings up. They are very effective and I bought a sheet of gold glittery butterflies when I last did some ‘card trimming’ shopping. This is two views of the same card.
The Christmas ones didn’t come out too badly either:
though one was an experiment that didn’t really work until I ‘added a few bits’.
I’ve just looked up last year’s dated card I sent out by email, and I’ve used the same Santa this year!

Nice work
Thanks Sarah
Great cards your really good at this now 💜
I’m developing my own ‘style’ I think!!
Yes indeed you are 💜
Those came out really nice! That was one craft that I tried once a long time ago but it wasn’t my forte. I do love the idea of hand-crafted cards, it is so much nicer than the ones you find at the store.
Thank you. I got so fed up finding a beautiful card with a naff verse or a beautiful verse inside a naff card. I don’t put verses in mine as a rule, though if it was a very special occasion, I would write a personal poem for the recipient.
Funny that you say that because my father, who has dementia, absolutely loves dogs. He doesn’t have one but loves the neighbors stopping by with theirs. I always try to find cards with cute dogs on the front and all I ever find are birthday cards but even in those the sayings are so dumb…What happened to “Happy Birthday”!
Very nice
Thank you
You’re welcome
Lovely to receive something special and unique, Di…
I shall be writing my Hello cards over the weekend.

Thank you very much for the reblog. I appreciate it!
All very lovely as usual! The butterfly is really spectacular. I had to laugh at the Santa for 2020 because at first glance it looked like he was sitting on the toilet! I thought it so appropriate for this year – then I saw the 2019 card and realized I was mistaken. hehehe!
It does rather doesn’t it. I love the gold butterflies. They are really sparkly. If I remember correctly I can get them in silver, black and green too.
