Hello!!
The day dawned overcast and cold, so doing any washing was iffy as the chances are nothing will dry. However, the sun keeps coming out so we’re taking a chance afterall.
Ploddy day planned as we have nowhere to be, nowhere we want to see and no-one to visit.
Just as well really as I had a restless night and think I’ll have been lucky to get four hours sleep in total.
Housework is done, and lunch in mind……… Hubby will try half a pasty, baked beans and tatty cake and I’ll do a baked potato for me with the rest of the beans and some cheese.
He has discovered to his joy that he can eat cookies as well as shortbread biscuits and also sausage rolls with no side effects. This is definitely a landmark and warrants celebration.
Sunday brings in some photo and word challenges so hopefully I will feel inspiration for those today. Jim’s Song Lyric Sunday is one of those and I am going to join in ‘on the fly’ and not know what it is in advance. Sometimes choices without having to think too much about them work out better for me.
I might even have a catch up nap this afternoon after walking the dog.
I understand it is Thanksgiving across the pond in Canada (sorry for my error, duh).
Enjoy dear friends, and keep safe.
I could sign up to a cookies and sausage rolls only diet.
with ice cream and milskshakes for dessert? Ah, dairy intolerant, right? The diet won’t last as it’s just a means to replace the drastic weight loss, but whatever solid food he ca keep down, the better.
All sounds good 💜
shame about the washing, neither of us noticed the rain so it’s gone up to the luanderette afterall.
That’s so annoying!
All done to the tune of £1.50
Excellent I was lucky we have had no rain here today so I got all my washing done and dry . Cut the lawn and walked Ruby trying to keep my mind off the niggling pain .
Hubby cut the front grass yesterday and I offered to do the back today but he said no. It’s too wet now, but if it dries out enough, I’ll do it tomorrow. Don’t overdo things Willow, though I know what you mean.
Thank you it’s good to know you have my back 💘
Er, it might be CANADIAN Thanksgiving, but America’s Thanksgiving is the last Thursday of November. So the turkeys are safe for a while yet. LOL Have a fabulous day Di, and congratulations on your hubby’s health! Pet Ms. Maggie for me too!
Thank you for putting me straight Melanie. I’m afraid I’m not up on Thanksgivings and should have realised it was two different months, let alone dates!!! Duh.
have amended my post. So embarrassed
Awe I am glad you had a nice, relaxed sunday Di! Lunch sounded good! I love baked potatos with cheese! xo
