The day has just started, that is it’s rolled past midnight and I’m still wired.
Got quite a lot on today, INR for Hubby, flu jabs, shopping and we have to get a new cartridge for the printer as the other one burnt out.
Why are so many things going wrong at the same time?
The dog is curled up beside me, fast asleep with tummy churning and a fragrant backside. My own guts are twanging a discorded duet with hers, probably because it’s been a weird day and my eating habits went out of the window. I managed to get a couple of cups of coffee and a delicious piece of carrot cake, plus a fruit topped yogurt from the hospital cafe. Hardly a balanced diet, but the sugar fix was badly needed.
I’ve caught up with Sunday’s reader, and set the 3TC for later today. Hopefully I should be able to settle down to sleep now, dog willing. Please don’t let us have another night like last night.
Keep safe everyone

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes!
In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too.
On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Morning. I shall be off to my morning job soon.
Had a treat this morning on opening my bedroom curtains. I seen a fox.
How wonderful Liz!! We’ve seen foxes and badgers in our road, and we have recently discovered where the owl roosts. We think it’s a tawny, but not sure yet.
I hope you have a restful evening.
Thanks Lauren.
Hopefully will be better! Keep safe!
Thanks! So far it is definitely a better day
That is an early start! Hopefully a nice day once it gets going. š
Maggie slept until 6.30 so I had a good few hours of much needed sleep. It’s been a better day today.
Hope you have a better day today. Things busy all at once and become stressful and you do things normally not do. This year has stressful for many. Just remember things passed. I need to figure out where we can get our flu shots.
We had our today at the chemist. You might be able to have someone come to the home.
