Where do you feel most at home?  Please be more specific than “at home, doh” please. It could be a room in your home, a person, a location…
They say home is where the heart is, and for us, it’s wherever we are together. I feel most comfortable in familiar surroundings, but visiting someone and receiving a warm and genuine welcome is enough to make me relax and feel ‘at home’.

Would you rather ride a bike, ride a horse, or drive a car?
I have no sense of balance to ride a bike, have never ridden a horse, but have been driving since 1977, passing my test in 1978. Driving a car has preference, because when it’s raining, at least you don’t normally get wet inside!

What song would you sing on “Karoke Night” (if you were forced to do so)?
My voice favours ballads, but if I was pushed, Rock around the Clock

University or life experience, which do you feel best prepares you for life?
I never went to University, and Grammar school knocked the confidence out of me as well as instilled my weight worries. Best preparation for life? Living.

IT’S AN ATTITUDE – GRATITUDE!  (Participation Always Optional Of Course)

What are you grateful for?
I’m loved, and my little family are on the mend.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  1. Thanks Di for Sharing Your World! Congratulations “Nurse SWMBO” for your mad skills in the healing arts! I’m sure your hubby appreciates all you do for him! ❤ I'm glad too to (presume?) that Ms Maggie is feeling a bit better. I hope there are a few more days of sunshine before the rainy season hits England! Thank you and take care!
