He’s awake!!

I’ve just had a groggy voiced phone call but he’s awake and able to give me the name of his ward and extension number which was different to the one given to me earlier.
He said he didn’t know where he was or why he was there and sounds totally out of it but wanted to talk to me. I told him I loved him and to hang up and get some sleep.
He mentioned they might be sending him home tomorrow.
I’ll ring the ward later for more details.

In the meantime I have read all your comments and food suggestions, putting them in a file so that they are all together.
Thank you all so much.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

So glad to hear he’s awake. I’m sure he’ll be groggy for a while, but just to hear his voice must have been so welcome! I hope you both get some rest tonight. All the best. 🙂
