Happy House Anniversary to us, we have now been here three years.
Today has been spent cleaning the house, cleaning the car, and getting everything ready for Op Day. I’ve been shown how to access the SatNav and entered the hospital details. The plan is to drop Hubby off and come straight home. Everything is packed and ready, meds, clothes, toiletries, some small change, pad and pencil for sketching. He was told to expect to be in for two nights, but they might let him out after one. Discharge is 10 am, so it’s no good ringing me at 9am with a three hour drive ahead of me and Hubby will tell them that. We will both be so glad when it’s done so that we can move forward.
We all had a pretty good night last night, and walked Maggie just before 9. Everything seems to be OK there, and she has had some rice and chicken this morning so is getting her appetite back. We’ll still be careful not to overload her tummy though.
Lunch today was pasty and beans for Hubby and I made a tomato pasta for me. I also treated him to a belgian bun, though made sure I picked one with the least sugary topping.
It will be a fair while before he can have something like this.
Quiet day today.
Fingers crossed it goes well. Not had a Belgium Bun in ages. That looks good.
I’d love to be an official taster as we’ve experienced quite a few in our time!
Happy house anniversary π and good luck π
thanks!
A happy house anniversary to you both.

My prayers for you God give strength to be able to handle the whatever happens. Best wishes and strong and Happy Anniversary.
Thank you so much for your good wishes.
Prayers that everything goes perfectly and life returns to a happy normal. I like the idea of a house anniversary. I have been in my house for 36 years and hoping to downsize next year. No stairs next time.
We already live in a bungalow. We downsized when we sold the cottage, though buying a thimble, aka the boat, was not exactly what I had in mind!!
Do you have a blog I can read about how the boat life came to be?
The entries are all in here Lauren. Here are a few and in the last one, there is a link to our final trip in April 2019. We were liveaboards from July 2014 to April 2017.

You’re welcome. Hope you enjoy them, especially our trips to Stratford. It would take about an hour in the car but 4 days by river!!
Happy anniversary! And good luck to the mister π
Thanks Paula on both counts. Hard to believe I took over from you a year ago!
Happy anniversary and best wishes to Hubby.
Thanks Michael

Happy house anniversary! I hope everything goes well, Di
thank you!
Sounds like you are all ready and everything is set. Hope all goes smoothly.
Thanks Val. I’m just waiting to hear how it all went now.
Happy three year anniversary sorry I am late, hope all goes well for the drop off at hospital and the operation π
Thanks Willow. Getting up at 3am is not in my top ten of nice things to do! I did have breakfast and a cuppa before we left for the hospital though.
I am glad you did π
