5 Things : Fall Favourites

Dr Tanya has given us the 5things challenge again this week. Check out her own response here
The 5 Things tag keeps surfacing on WordPress. I am not sure who first thought of it but I have always found it fun to do. I thought “Why not make it a weekly feature?”

Here in the UK, we refer to ‘Fall’ as Autumn, so here are my

1. The vibrant colours, reds, golds, browns and russets

2. Cosy nights by the fire (sadly not now as we don’t have one)

3. Clear autumn night skies revealing a zillion stars

4. Fresh crisp mornings (this is actually my picture of the dawn on Christmas Day 2018)

5. The holidaymakers go home!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

I can imagine you and your neighbors having a celebration when the visitors all leave town. I bet Maggie will enjoy a walk on the prom – finally!

    • It is nice when they all go home. The prom is covered in sand at the moment due to the high winds of late, and sadly Maggie has an intolerance to it. Shame, as she loves to swim, but there’s a lot of beach between the prom and the water! However, when the council have swept it all back on the beach where it belongs, the prom is a lovely walk and she loves it.

  4. Thanks for sharing your favourites and some great autumn images.
As you have seen in my post I love the colours of autumn too.

  5. Thanks Di for sharing all your autumn favorites – loved them – brought back past memories for me. Great post!!
