You go into a shop to buy clothes and they don’t stock your size, but you can order it ‘on-line’.
You have a query on your bank account, and when you call the number, you get an automated voice inviting you to go ‘on-line’.
You order your shopping……. on-line.
You make your appointments on-line.
You get text messages for surveys and they give you a link to go to on-line.
Your communications are all on-line.
Everything you want is On-Line (or supposedly because we can’t get the DIY stuff we want, on-line or otherwise!)
Now they want to link all your communication packages into one hub ‘on-line’.
Do you think they’ve forgotten an ‘e’ and it should read One Line??
