Welcome to Sadje’s weekly What do you See challenge.

( For the visually challenged reader, the image shows a sky full of hot air balloons in various colors. The nearest one shows a couple in the basket with an operator)
It must have cost the earth, but it was the perfect solution.
Their invitations read:
“You are cordially invited to the wedding of Sarah and Peter on August 31st 2020.
Must have a head for heights.
No wedding gifts are necessary as we have everything we need apart from your company to share our Special Day.
RSVP by July 5th 2020 please”
The day dawned with perfect conditions for the hot air balloon festival.
The bride and groom took to the air in the main basket with the official who was conducting the service who just happened to be a qualified balloon operator.
Fifty guests took to a variety of other balloons, thus complying with the social distancing regulations. They all wore headsets so that they could hear and join in the nuptials.
It was the wedding of all weddings as over a hundred balloons, not all part of the wedding party of course, filled the sky which was soon echoing cheers and raining confetti.
Awesome take !🌼
thanks
Wow! Very interesting wedding celebration. 🙂
thanks
What a fantastic idea Di. Thanks for joining in the challenge
Thanks Sadje. We knew of people who gave hot air balloon rides, and my best friend and her husband were always involved in the retrieve, ie bringing everything back. The atmosphere at the rallies and festivals is terrific.
You’re welcome!
How cool that would be! Fun post!
Thanks!
Genius!
thanks Tina

I love that idea! You really took this prompt to new heights!!!
Thanks! I knew a balloonist group.
If only I’d thought of that!
