Hugs to everyone, we need them

I’m feeling a little low just now.
Nothing wrong, just low.
Sometimes a hug is all it takes to raise the spirits.
To know someone is there.
Physical contact, a touch, the feel of another heartbeat.
You don’t need words.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Seems that we all need more hugs. In the spirit of Leo Buscaglia, consider yourself hugged for a full 60 seconds!

  6. Paula Light says:

Virtual hug from me as well! 😍

  7. Virtual hugs 🤗 to you.

  8. Oh for those thoughtless, mindless, healing hugs! Only family dare to get and give them now in the year of the plague. But look at all your virtual hugs: I hope this burst from your blog friends warms your sad heart. Clearly you are loved.
