The Garden of Forever
Is in full bloom today:
Two souls join hands
And dance beneath the sun’s rays.
Their music is birdsong,
The fragrance of roses close,
Gliding on lightest feet
Two people I loved the most.
An audience of luscious greenery,
Colours so true and clear,
Cloudless skies revealing
This couple I hold most dear.
Seventy years of marriage
Would have been celebrated today,
A candle is shining brightly
Loving memories sent their way.
Time is not a barrier,
Now, no longer apart,
The Garden of Forever
Is always in my heart.
I miss you both ❤ ❤ ❤

So beautiful 💜🥰🥰
Thank you.

This lovely memory brought tears to my eyes…
Thank you. The candle is burning brightly in front of their photograph.
Lovely!
I love the sentiment in this – my parents never celebrated their anniversary though I knew it was in July….
Dad always used to buy Mum 2 dozen red carnations on their anniversary. He only missed one year but he simply could not afford it.
I am smiling through my tears. Very touching.
Thanks Pam.
Beautiful Di.
Thanks Fransi
I love your poem Di.
Thank you. The candle I lit this morning has just extinguished, so was going for about 6 hours. Not bad for a little ‘tea light’.
You’re welcome!
This is so touching. Just lovely. ❤
Thanks Diana. Hope you are keeping well.
