The day is winding to a close in NZ so I was glad I rang Bro last night just after 9 pm to sing him a Happy Birthday as his day started. No special plans he said, but visitors were expected in the afternoon. Hope he had a lovely day. Great to talk to him.
More happy news, they have released pictures of Princess Beatrice’s wedding, and she looks stunning.

It was an extra special day as she wore a vintage wedding dress which had been altered by the head royal dressmaker, and even more so as she wore the same tiara as worn by our Queen Elizabeth on her wedding day in 1947.
It will be a day to remember for all the right reasons IMO, nothing to do with crowds of wannabe celebs, hangerson, or divas wanting to get their fissogs in the tabloids. A quiet wedding (with style of course due to their standing) and more about the Bride and Groom than the guests. Wonderful, and I wish them every happiness.

At 5.30 this morning, it was chucking it down with rain and had been for most of the night. Now, at 10.50, we have glorious sunshine but it’s not too hot and uncomfortable.
Nothing planned today. Lunch is pork chops with our new potatoes, bought carrots and sprouts, with a pineapple crumble for dessert using the other half of the tin from the other day and my oats and granola crumble topping.

Those poor girls get such bad press and it’s not fair. They can’t help who their parents are. For once the press can’t trance them for their dress sense.
