Share your World 13th July

Many thanks to Melanie for setting the questions every week for Share Your World.
Check it out here

Melanie has given us a double image this week, but I’m only picking up one:
Pizza anyone?

What song always gets you out on the dance floor?
Rock around the Clock by Bill Haley and his Comets.

What’s your favorite sleeping position?
On my right side, or it might be my left, or my back, but never on my front.  It can take an age for me to get comfy depending on how much space Maggie gives me, but once I am, I’m gone in minutes regardless of how I’m lying!!

If you could snap your fingers and instantly make the world better, what would you do?
Banish this damn virus to oblivion

What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done, and why did you do it?
Climbed a windmill. I don’t have a good head for heights at all, but the only way to appreciate an awesome view was to climb the narrow ladder to the top, where there was only room for one person! It was worth it.

Gratitude Moment (optional)

Please feel free to share something uplifting from your life!

I am glad that I can drive, am not alone, and can get out to shop or walk the dog.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

    I’m with you about Covid-19.

  2. Carol says:

Bill Haley and the Comets once upon a time got me out on the dance floor for sure!
I love your header photo – the ocean calls me and in my next life I shall live on its shore.

    • This is our beach which is about a five minute walk away. At the moment we are unlikely to go due to visitors to the town, but at least ‘our end’ is open all year to dogs.

I’m with you on the heights issue… I’m glad the view was worth it. I think I’d have trouble keeping my eyes open long enough to appreciate it!
