The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS July 11/2020

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “song.” First, find a picture–the closest one to you. Your prompt is the title and/or the lyrics of the first song that comes to mind when you look at the picture. Have fun!
Details and rules here.

We don’t have many books or pictures, but as I sit here on the sofa, I am looking at the 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle we did when we were staying with MSM before buying our house.

We have since completed another and when we can get a frame for it, it too will go up on the wall.
The two have something in common too:

So for Linda’s challenge this week, I need to think of a song to go with my puzzles.
Easy, Messing about on the River!
I’m adding a couple of my favourite pictures from our trips to Stratford Upon Avon when we were liveaboards.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Love the puzzles – I can’t wait until the family is able to put together puzzles again… We’d all gather around the dining room table and work on it. Usually for a couple weeks. *sigh* COVID changed all that. You have had so many boat adventures! It sounds like a very exciting time but I’d be a nervous wreck since water makes me afraid (my idea if torture would be a speed boat ride)!

    • I had a speed boat ride with first fiance. Bruised to hell. Lots of posts about our liveaboard days (2014 to 2017). When we took her up for brokerage, its all under Final Trip…………. and about 10 posts.
