Our word is ‘toss’ and we can use it any way we wish.
I’ve read a lot of posts today but none so far have mentioned Tossing of Pancakes!
Now I could say I am Queen of the Tossers, that was until I did one too many and it ended up in the dog on the floor.
Hubby likes pancakes, and makes them often. I haven’t seen him drop one yet, so my crown has been toppled and I would credit him as the Toss King.
Sounds so much nicer, don’t you think?
This was the one he specifically made for Maggie in the shape of a bonio.

Did the pancake end up in the dog by way of the floor?
yep. The bonio was Maggie’s so OK, but the one I did was before I met Hubby and the GSD got to it! At least it didn’t land on her head!
I had to look up the word bonio, because I thought that you meant to write bone, but I found that Bonio is a popular brand of dog biscuit sold in the United Kingdom.
Yep. Sorry, I forget. Maggie also liked Shapes, but has now progressed to the Biscrok gravy bones
I would dare not toss my pancakes. I can barely flip then without a disaster.
Pancakes was always a favourite of one of the boys, and we’d have them on his birthday. There were four of us but when we had foster kids too, there could be 6, so I’d make about 30! I misjudged it once and the dog got one, but there was still plenty to go around. Happy memories.
Our dog often gets things by “accident.” LOL
haha. Same here though not much is actually dropped. She’s not as quick as she used to be as before anything edible that was dropped never touched the floor!
We usually say flip! Mmm pancakes π₯π
Hubby used flour milk and 1 egg, I use flour, milk and two eggs, but they all taste good!
Love the Bonio pancake. Dare I say …..What a great pair of T…ers Well maybe not.π€ππππ
someone had to!! We are well matched LOL
Love it πππ
Wow. He has got quite the talent!
I was told he was useful and to keep him. Best advice I ever received!
Oh my, I’ve never dared to toss a pancake. I do a rather boring flip but I’m sure my dogs would appreciate me getting a little more adventurous. π
Flip in the US, toss in the UK, nt much difference. We used to have pancake races where you had to toss the pancake at certain places on the course. That could be really funny, especially as the men used to dress up and take part too!
