One stick wonder, and Hubby took the dog for a walk to get some fresher air.
When he came back he said
‘You can really smell that now. Er, it’s a bit strong.’
The dog turned tail and stayed in the garden…………….. at the bottom.
Scene is front (only) door and all windows open, fan going, and the smelly has been binned!
Paracetamol is optional with our cup of tea.
Will not be buying another, though if SIL wants to send us one exactly the same as she did for Christmas, thank you in advance as we had no problem with that at all!!

😵
ran across an interesting take on the nose yesterday: the dog has a powerful smeller designed to paint a 3-d picture when kept to the ground, whereas the human nose is designed to be held high and sample the air up there, well off the ground, for threats and whatnot (fried chicken and doughnuts, e.g.) in the distance. human + canine = a powerful pair.
cheers. 🙂
it’s fascinating isn’t it. No wonder they ‘communicate’. Thanks for passing it on.
Problem solved! I’m sure Maggie is happier!!
