Bunny Central

A few years ago, Maggie picked out a track through the woods where we walked her every day that was used mainly by deer and not many humans.
This is the ‘exit end’ taken in January 2019, no longer a secret walkway for dogs to explore.
However, in the midst of this walkway which weaves from side to side, there is a place we dubbed ‘Bunny Central’.
This is a small hump in the ground where several channels unite from rabbit runs in the woods. Whether we’re right or not is anyone’s guess, but it’s a nice thought that rabbits have a social meeting place!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  1. A bunny meeting meeting place, that’s delightful!

How I wish to see that place.. and to wonder what they will be discussing πŸ˜€

    A cute post.

  4. The bunnies have it over on humans too in that (as far as I’m aware) they don’t have to worry about meeting in groups. No C-19 for THEM! πŸ˜† What a lovely idea! ❀

Awe! So lovely and I bet you were right! Did you ever see some rabbits?
