Hubby had a second day of chili today as it was too much for one day between the two of us, but not enough for both of us for two days because it was only a small packet of minced beef (about 150g).
Last week, I treated myself to some frozen prawns, so I had a salad instead as it’s been another really hot day.

These are our first home produce items this year and there are loads more coming.
I’ve never really been a fan of radishes, but there is something about homegrown as they have a flavour all of their own which is nothing like you buy in the shop.
I cut the smaller one in half for Hubby to have a taster, and then sliced the other to go on my salad.
I must admit the flavours of prawns, lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, grated carrot and radish with a dollop of lighter than light mayo complimented each other beautifully.
