Come here often?

Image from Pinterest. For the visually challenged writer, the photo shows small pots containing plants that have very human-like features.

‘Hi.’
‘Hello yourself. You doin’ OK?’
‘I guess. Where am I?’
‘Haven’t the foggiest. None of us do.’
He looked along the rank to see similar faces to himself.
‘Oh. How strange that we all look alike.’
‘Haven’t really thought about it to be honest.  What’s the last thing you remember?’
‘Yoga. Some new position I hadn’t heard of, something went ping in my back and everything went dark. Now I’m here.’
‘Hey Fred! You had a yoga thing didn’t you?’
‘Yeah,’ echoed a voice. ‘Jarred my back summat awful.’
‘And me….’
‘Me too………..’
came from behind him.
‘How many of us are there?’ he asked nervously.
‘Dunno. A few I guess. Look out…….. here she comes with another one.’

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
