Chicken curry for dinner today, nothing fancy, and I’ve modified my recipe a little by not adding any sugar to my sauce and letting the sultanas provide the sweetness.
Plain boiled rice, with a sprinkle of desiccated coconut on the top, served with garlic bread as I had no poppadoms today.
This is my cheesecake, again a slightly modified recipe by using Elmlee instead of full double cream in the hope of making it less rich so that Hubby could enjoy some. This time, I used chocolate covered nougat for my decoration, but even this is a little cheat as it is chocolate flavoured coating, not proper chocolate, something we had already ascertained doesn’t upset Hubby’s digestion. So far, so good and he’s still smiling.
