A new Q&A on the block

I don’t know where Rory got the idea for this, but it looked fun, so here I am.

Just 6 questions …..

Do you think more marriages means more happiness?
Depends if you have a fetish for wedding cake or alimony.

[Interpret as you wish]

I mean they don’t have to be your marriages, maybe there is more happiness to be had in someone else’s right? Once was enough for me but you know that’s just me….

This is my second run at marriage and the longest relationship in my life (31 years together, 29  as Mr and Mrs).
The first wedding was a trial and big error, and live-in relationships don’t count. I’m happy, I’ve found my soul mate and he puts up with a lot as I’m not the easiest person to live with, mood swings an’ all (and no PMS anymore as an excuse!)

In the current climate are you talking to yourself more or less … interpret as you wish, but are you talking to yourself more or less when it’s warmer or colder??
I talk to myself a lot, and the birds, bees, flowers, seedlings, dog, cats, and occasionally Hubby and other people. The weather’s got nothing to do with it.

Yeah, yeah that climate not the other climate unless you do want to answer the question under that climate.

Do you prefer to buy your own flowers for the house/home, have someone buy them for you, steal them from the neighbours garden or sneak into the local undertakers and help yourself to the pretty bunches?
I’ll buy them myself, or Hubby will treat me for no reason. I certainly wouldn’t steal them from someone’s garden (though readers might be interested in this post) and as for the latter part of your question, anyone who does that should be ashamed.

[Asking for a friend]

Have you found yourself to be more or less reflective recently?
As in when you look into a mirror ….
I see my Mum staring back at me every day. As for being reflective, sure, I’m often pensive or deep in thought. Why do you think I called my blog ‘pensitivity’ ?
What’s your special weird habit?
I don’t mean Monks either unless you are a Monk, then l do mean what is your weird habit … erm like?

I used to collect pieces of (clean) toilet paper when the pretty pastel colours first came out in the 60s. Now I guess it’s talking to things (see Q2)

When was the last time you literally woke up and smelled the coffee??
I know like what ever next ?
I don’t have coffee in the morning, and neither does Hubby.
However, we were both realistic cynics or cynical realists when we met (whatever), and I had thrown a cup of perfectly decent coffee over ex-partner a year or so previously when he pushed me too far.

The last time you smelled a ?
That’s why ex-partner got the coffee in his lap.

Exactly!!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
