“Why so glum?” said Bungle to Bobble

“I lost a piece of my clown costume.” 😥

“Oh! That’s nuthin! I lost my nose!”

“Oh No! That’s worse! At least we still have our sense of humour. How about I give you my extra nose.”

“Is it clean?”

“What!????!!!! Of course it is!” 🙄

“Okay thanks!”

“You’re welcome. But noses and costumes can’t bring people.” Said Bungle, sadly. “The circus is doomed.”

“I have an idea you’ll like!” as a lightbulb appeared, from his colourful  pocket.”

“Hey! That’s a good one! Lightbulbs in your pocket!” 🤣

“We could open a you tube channel and entertain people!”

“We could call it Coronavirus Circus Spectacular!”

“Naw. Forget the Corona part. That’s too depressing.”

“Okay! How bout this! CLOWNS FOR CLEANLINESS!”

“Um. I dunno.”

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
