Thanks to Brenda for hosting the Sunday Whirl.
He had what I’d term as a ‘Hug Face‘, one where the skin had sagged but the smile was warm and friendly, embracing you from top to toe.
He had hands the size of dinner plates, fingers which would lock with arthritis at times, but he never let that restrict him in anything he wanted to do.
Every morning when he woke up, he would count to fifty before getting out of bed.
Mostly he was independent in his own home, though had the emergency call button should he need assistance, and his daughter lived only a short distance away. He was so glad she had seen sense and kicked that draining boyfriend and his cult into touch.
