Clark was feeling mighty pleased with himself as he swaggered into the diner and slipped into a corner booth.
Lois looked up from the menu and grinned.
‘Found somewhere to park OK?’ she asked.
‘Oh yeah,’ he smirked, looking out of the window.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  2. LOL! Well, at least he’ll be able to take off easily … 😉

  3. Iain Kelly says:

Haha! One of the few silver linings at the moment is I’m having no trouble getting a parking space at my work. I’m one of the few who can’t do my job at home, so still plodding in to a half-empty building. Good fun, Di.

  4. Dale says:

Buahahaha! I’ve been waiting for someone to “park” up there!
    Fun stuff.

  5. Nobbinmaug says:

There have been times circling the block when I wished I could do that.

  6. msjadeli says:

    Someday! Good one.

  7. Dear Di,

Watching him pull out of that parking space should be fun.

    Shalom,

    Rochelle

  8. Is it a bird, is it a plane…no it’s Superman’s car

  9. So, it was Mr Kent that parked it up there! At least being out of reach he won’t get a parking ticket!

  10. Mike says:

Batman and Robin are not happy that Superman pinched their parking spot

  11. Carol Anne says:

Awe very good Di! Loved it! ❤
