Oh, memories of our wedding day!
It dawned gloriously sunny, and because it was a special day, we both had morning showers! LOL
When Hubby-to-be came back into the bedroom, this was sitting on the pillow for him:
Ours was a registry office ceremony as we’d both had a trial run in the marriage stakes.
We met our guests at the door and the Registrar said she would wait for the rest of our party to arrive.
I pointed out they were all there, all seven of them, nine including us, so everyone took a row to fill out the room.
That was twenty nine years ago and we’re still going strong!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

What a fantastic beginning to a wonderful journey.

    • We had a terrific day, doing it the way we wanted, nice and quiet. The birds did well as our guests threw rice crispies and sugar puffs because paper confetti wasn’t allowed. We all went for a meal in the local pub afterwards, and then left to catch the train for our honeymoon in Amsterdam.

  5. Congratulations! Bob and I were married for 21 1/2 years. I’m sure it would have kept going….Memories are wonderful.
