Weird goings on in the background

I was late accessing my blog today because of our eerie shopping trip this morning.
We have since had a late night visit to the local supermarket (which closed at 10pm) and were one of two cars in the car park. It was surreal.
You might think, Hang on, didn’t she say they’d already been shopping today?
Well yes, we did, but talking this evening there were a few things Hubby wanted and we’d just run out of biscuits, so rather than go tomorrow, we went this evening instead.

We got what we wanted, garlic, dried ginger, eggs, bread (30% off), yogurt for Hubby, biscuits of course and a set of 8 screwdrivers with 30% off and revised price of £3.49.
The screwdrivers were a bargain as Hubby had seen them advertised but not ‘in the flesh’ sotospeak, and to get an extra discount was great! They are suitable for the job and up to the relevant safety standards, so not cheap and nasty as some are (we had a few that broke as soon as the screw fought back) and will last him a fair while.
So, back to blogging then.
There are a few photo challenges on a Wednesday that I participate in, but I was having serious problems with one, as I could not copy the image and it caused my computer to crash! Everything stopped, stalled, flashed, rolled, and I wasn’t touching anything!
I had to close everything and reboot, which meant that my reader went back to the top and I had to start again.
Now my internet connection is on velcro, and my frustration levels are hitting the roof so I will be closing shortly. I think I’ve acknowledged all the 3TC entries today, another great selection too, and I have managed to do a couple of posts today anyway.
See you tomorrow.
Sigh………… I miss the boat!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
