I was good at this when I was working as I had strict deadlines to meet, so try hard to get things in order of importance since I retired.
I was late coming to my blog today so when I opened up, I saw I had 24 comments.
I’d only had one post go out and that was the 3TC scheduled for this morning, so some of the comments referred to that, and for me, it’s always important to read those posts and acknowledge the participants. I get a lot of fun out of setting the challenge and even more pleasure reading everyone’s responses.
Saturday sees several challenges I enjoy so hopefully I will be able to take part before the day is out and also read all today’s posts by bloggers I follow.
Maggie is due for her final wee in about an hour, then we shall retire to bed. She is a creature of habit and when we were on the boat, we got into the routine we have now.
It can be a bit of a pain her wanting to go out every couple of hours or so during the day (we can’t ignore her as she herds us towards the door!) but then we had to take her up to the dog walk or around the block as we had no garden!
Saying that though, the little minx prefers to do the business on her walks, leaving her calling card which we clear up or just checking out the grass to ensure nobody had buried her scent! In the middle of the night or first thing in the morning, the garden is perfectly adequate for her, but one of us still has to get up and dressed to let her out as we only have the one door here and lock the gates at night.
It’s been a great day though and we’ve accomplished what we set out to do. The wind is picking up now and we are due to have Storm Ellen hit soon. We are a bit out of sinc thanks to Spain dumping Storm Jorge on us, so now we’ll have two storms beginning with J for 2020.
I must admit I was rather confused at Jorge turning up as I couldn’t remember meeting Ellen, Francis, Gerda, Hugh or Iris yet. Glad to know I’m not going mad and it’s a European thing as they are ahead of us in the alphabet it seems.
oh my the storm names……well hopefully all my ‘storms’ will settle down and i can get back to blogging after we move …………which is right around the corner! Glad to see you blogging, just a quick passby here in the reader
Hi Sarah. Hope things are OK with you. Thanks for dropping in!
