It’s a Mystery……………..

Sorry, couldn’t resist, but is this really almost 40 years ago?
Toyah got to Number 2 in the UK charts with this in 1981. How I wish I had her energy then and now!!

But I digress:

So for rule 8
My questions

If you could be anyone (living or dead) for a day, who would that be?

If you could be famous, would it be as an inventor, scientist, artiste (painter/sculptor), pop star, musician, film icon, royalty, other

If you came into a lot of money, what would be the first thing you’d do?

Can you bake a cake?

Do you believe in reincarnation?

As for Rule 9, I think I’ve written some pretty good stuff (and some rubbish too IMO) since I started my blog in 2013. Dig around and see what appeals!

Thanks again Melanie. Hope I didn’t disappoint.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  1. GREAT post!! I’m laughing still at the mental picture of a wee Di scrubbing her tub with a whole box of Tide laundry soap! 😛 I bet your mother wasn’t amused (although I do think she was probably laughing herself silly behind the scenes) Yes you did the challenge very well and thanks for the blast from the past badge! I’ve done better….. O_o but it’s sweet of you to use it! 😀

    • Mum was very anxious when the suds were creeping under the door, and I’d locked myself in. We had one of those locks that only turned one way and you had to get it exactly right. My Dad ended up getting a ladder and coming through the bathroom window to save me from the Supersuds Monster. I was crying, though not sure if it was in fear of the suds or getting a telling off, but I remember the cuddles and put on dusting duty instead.

  2. Oopsie. Forgot. I’m ‘borrowing’ question #4 (the cake question) for this week’s Share Your World. I hope that’s okay! 🙂
