Really Me, 16 February 2020

Rory sets us three questions wanting to know a bit more about us.

If you had more time per day how would you best use it? Currently a day is 24 hours long, but if the day was 36 hours long so 12 hours longer – how would you occupy yourself?

Time goes pretty quickly as it is, but as for wanting the days to be longer, this would be playing right into the government’s hands as people would be expected to work the extra hours with no additional pay.

Everyone says they don’t have enough time every day, each day everyway – so what is enough time per day – how much time would you need in your day to get everything done?

I’m retired now and seriously wonder however I found the time and energy to work!
When I was working though I had strict deadlines, so good time management skills were a must.I had that, and never missed a single deadline.

Do you think that you prioritise your daily active time well and if not could you squeeze any further time out to your advantage? If you do – since you started prioritising your use of time – do you find your day easier?

Again, time management comes into play here, and when you know certain things have to be done within a certain timeframe, you plan accordingly. However, it has a downside as you’re working on adrenalin and when that begins to fade, so do you.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Exactly right! It’s how one manages the time.

  2. Nicely answered Di, everything comes down to management of time itself and prioritising what you have in it.
