MLMM Photo Challenge #302

Many thanks to Nekneeraj for supplying this weeks picture

She was beautiful in his eyes. It was Valentine’s Day the day after tomorrow, and worth a shot.
She knelt down to his level and smiled.
‘You are very kind, and I am very flattered, but I think I might be a little too old for you.’
His bottom lip quivered and his flower trembled in his hand.
She picked him up and held him close to her triple heart.
Kissing him on the nose she said he would make someone very happy in about ten years time, but for now, she was happy to be his special friend and guardian.

Note:
My thanks to Rory aka A Guy called Bloke who has kindly gifted me a compliment with this post. He’s done the same to a few others so it’s worth checking them out too.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
