Share you World 10th February 2020

Thanks Melanie for setting the weekly Share Your World questions.
You can join in to by checking out this link and following her guidelines.
Some interesting ones this week…………. I’ll be honest, honest!

Questions and my answers:

Do you snore?  How do you know it, if you do?
Yes. Hubby is always telling me that, though I can’t hear a thing. He says Maggie and I snore in harmonic stereo.

What do you find funny?  (credit for question given to Rory and this post in particular:

https://aguycalledbloke.blog/2020/02/05/ha-ha-ha-ahh-what-do-you-find-funny/  )
I will not be very popular, but a guy getting hit in the nether regions never fails to double me over too, but with laughter. Sorry guys.
More recently, I found it hysterical that after my mastectomy, I hadn’t lost a single ounce at weigh in. Even my McMillan nurse said I should have lost at least a pound judging by the size of the remaining boob.

What was the last furry thing you touched?
Maggie

How do you handcuff a one-armed man?
With difficulty I would think unless it’s to another person.

An Attitude of Gratitude

This week I challenge you to list five things you’re grateful for.   Credit to this goes to Sadje ( https://lifeafter50forwomen.com/ ) because she’s started a challenge to do that daily.  #5 Things.   Daunting?  Well it is to me!  I’d have trouble finding five one time, let alone each day.

My five things:

A man (and a dog) who loves me
A home
No debt whatsoever
Friends
Good health

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  1. Sadje says:

    Great answers Di!

  2. John Holton says:

The nether regions thing is funny unless you’re the recipient.

  3. ❤ to the photo! Thanks for sharing that with us all…love embodied I think! Thanks Di for Sharing Your World and some mighty profound answers to silly questions! I'm glad you saved your "porkies' for Friday! 😀

  4. I enjoyed those answers – No: 2 was a doozie. It’s nice to read the positivity of the second prompt of gratefulness considering the events you’ve endured in recent months. 🙂

  5. A kick or a hit in the balls is always funny, just never to the receiver 🙂
