Three Mile Walk and other bits…………..

No, we haven’t done that all in one go today, but by the time the day is done, the three of us will have covered that distance plus a bit more.

It’s been beautiful here today. The wind had dropped and the sun has been shining all day.
We walked into town, did a little bit of shopping and then stopped at the cafe for coffee, cake and a breather. We needed it to be honest as we were all flagging.

I am pacing myself and doing extremely well in my book, getting back into the swing of things as regards walks, eating habits and darts, but still get tired at the throw of a switch.

Remember this?

Three in a bed, and only my second in all the years I’ve been playing as no-one was around to see my 180 shot over 32 years ago.
Then the other afternoon I did this when I was only wanting 5 (and I got them in the right order) :

But I excelled myself here even though it wasn’t three in a bed and I lost the game anyway:
WOW!  165, two treble 19s (114) and a treble 17 (51).
But we all know it’s that finishing double that matters and I’m still lacking there.
We had a phone call this afternoon to say my new glasses are ready for collection, so who knows, maybe they’ll help with my aim!

Foodwise it has been another meat free day with Hubby having his McCheese (left) and I did a tomato, mixed pepper and green bean bake for me.

Mine was a ‘free dinner’ as the cheese is included in my daily allowance, so I was showing willing and our walks have helped counteract the cake!
I didn’t go to SW tonight as I felt too tired and the hall is extremely cold as they can’t seem to get the heating balanced properly. I weighed myself this morning though and I am still well within my target parameters.
All in all, a good day, and we should sleep well tonight.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
