FOWC with Fandango — Coordinate

We can co-ordinate our movements and limbs, or try to if we’ve had a few or as babes just learning to crawl or walk.
We buy outfits for special occasions and like to have the accessories that co-ordinate with colour or style.
We co-ordinate our homes with colour schemes and furnishings but sometimes this can be taken too far.

As a kid, our Christmas tree was a mish-mash of colour, baubles, tinsel, lights and our fairy, but everything was randomly placed without a single iota of co-ordination.
Being new to the office in 2002, it was my ‘honour’ to decorate the Christmas tree and my workmates were stunned, gobsmacked, even shocked at my efforts.
I confess I was a little hurt, because I thought it looked great, until it was mentioned that usually things were either co-ordinated to match or themed , such as ribbons and bells.
‘Ah. Tough titty then,’ I said. ‘Part of Christmas is the element of surprise,’ and I’d obviously done that.
At least they didn’t strip the tree and redo it, and the boss said it did look rather nice………
But I wasn’t asked again (spoil sports)

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
