Hello and welcome to The Three Things Challenge.
Every day I’ll give you three words that will hopefully trigger your creativity.
No need to use them all if you don’t want to, simply read the prompt and see what it brings to mind.
You can use 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC as a tag and I have a new logo for you this year.
There are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre apart from keep it family friendly.
Invite us along by creating a pingback to this post, then leave a link in the comments so that other people can read your writings and I’ll see it to respond to you directly.
Bear in mind although the challenge will go out around 6.30am UK time, pingbacks have to be approved manually so might not show immediately if I’m late accessing my blog.
Have fun and enjoy!
Your three words today are:
CRUST
KERB
FLAT
Here’s my effort:
In tears, she fell into her mother’s arms.
‘It wasn’t my fault, honest! I was standing at the kerb waiting to cross the road when that bully from next door pushed me. I know how you love the crust on Sonny’s homemade pies, but he knocked it from my hand and then squashed it flat. I punched him and he went wailing in to his Mom who called the police for assault. How was I to know I’d broken his nose?’
Nice blog n challenge
thank you!
You’re welcome

Nice story…. here’s my one liner.
I had to kerb (curb) my calories, so instead of eating CRUSTEd bread I ate flat corn tortillas.
It’s not the bread that’s the problem, bu the butter I like on it. 😦
Thanks for joining in today
That thought went through my head, but… 🙃
